CLUB RIDES

Weekday Rides
TUESDAY

TRAINING LOOP

 

A 38km flat(ish) timed training loop, groups set off a few minutes apart with the fastest going first. Members are encouraged to challenge themselves by riding with a faster group with the safety of another group behind if dropped.

Departs 6:30pm

THURSDAY

SOCIAL RIDE

 

A 50km rolling route with a few hills thrown in, riders will be split into groups of similar ability for a fun social ride that everyone can enjoy.

FRIDAY

MTB RIDE

 

A 30-40km off-road ride around bridleways, towpaths and green lanes with stretches of road in between.

Weekend Rides
SATURDAY

TRAINING RIDE

 

Timed laps round a traffic light, left turn only loop, warm up lap as a group then "Hare and Hounds" format hot lap to try and improve on you best and catch the riders ahead

Departs 9:00am

SUNDAY

CLUB RUN

 

Dependant on the time of year these can vary in distance from short 50km rides up to 160km rides to the seaside for chips. As a rule these finish with a coffee stop for the traditional cake.

ZWIFT Rides
ANY DAY

ONLINE RIDES

 

The club has a large amounts of riders who frequent Zwift when the weather is bad or for quality training.

The club now has a Zwift club where various group rides are organised and social and training rides can be taken online if the weather turns bad.
